Knowing I physically can't save them all, I needed to do something to impact other dogs like Chase. He was scared, he was overlooked, and he was almost out of time. Thats the sad case for hundreds of thousands of other dogs like him.
We already know we can't change the world. But one dog at a time, we can change THEIR world, and for them, it makes all the difference. Small steps can take us a big distance if we just keep going.
For the immediate focus, we want to fundraise to pull and place one dog at a time into our foster program. We hope to bridge the gap for people who would be open to or consider adoption, but are hesitant due to the many uncertainties that come with it. When the dogs finish our program, they will be potty trained, have basic behavioral training & socialization, and be better equipped to go to their forever homes.
Our short term goal is to establish a presence and a platform that we can use to increase the visibility of our brand in order to achieve the more financially contingent phases of our plan. We would like to raise and save money towards the goal of rolling out our program on a larger scale, and introduce behavioral training in shelters, hosting adoption events, and sponsoring / coordinating transportation and adoptions.
Our long term goal is to become an international presence where we have the resources to help wherever needed. We will pursue our goal to get living communities and local businesses involved in fostering efforts & giving back to supporters. We also hope to succeed in our goal to open a full care facility that can act as a "half-way" house, so we can continuously pull them from shelters and help care for them and better their chances for adoption.
